Much has been written about middle school redesign and many middle school educators have been actively engaged in middle school redesign work. There are many success stories to share.

Now is the time to make plans to join with educators from other middle schools to explore middle school redesign initiatives shared by middle school educators. Middle schools currently scheduled to share their success stories include:

  • New London-Spicer Middle School: Breaking Ranks in the Middle, A Practical Approach
  • Oak Grove Middle School, Bloomington: Professional Learning Communities at the Middle Level
  • Olson Middle School, Bloomington: Implementing a STEM Way of Thinking
  • Pioneer Ridge Middle School, Chaska: A New View from the Middle
  • Roseville Area Middle School: Risk Takers on the Move
  • Valley View Middle School, Bloomington: A Renaissance
  • Westwood Middle School, Spring Lake Park: Maximizing the Middle

FACILITATORS: Educators from Minnesota middle schools.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: This workshop is designed for middle school teacher leaders, middle school
principals/assistant principals, and middle school teachers engaged in middle school redesign initiatives.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 22, 2010; 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

LOCATION: TIES; 1667 Snelling Avenue North; St. Paul, Minnesota 55108

COST:  GRO Members:  $25; Non-GRO Members: $30.  Lunch included.

NOTE: No-shows and cancellation e-mails received after 3 PM on Wednesday, June 16th, will result in billing for your full registration fee unless it is an emergency for which GRO staff has approved waiver of your workshop fee.
